Whether your pleasure is downhill skiing from the highest lift serviced peak in the east, free style skiing and snowboarding in one of Killington's many terrain parks, to cross country skiing at the nearby Mountain Meadows cross country center, or snowmobiling the nearby VAST (Vermont Area Snow Travellers) trail system, Killington has something to offer for everyone.
But just because the snow melts, the fun does not stop at Killington. After the snow departs, touring through the scenic Green Mountains of Vermont takes center stage. From travelling Vermont's winding back country roads, to recreational pursuits like mountain biking, golf, tennis, swimming, horseback riding, tubing, and hiking, form the backbone of summer activities in Killington. Two world class golf courses, the Green Mountain National Golf Course, and the Killington Resort Golf Course call Killington home. Killington is also the junction point for the Appalachian and Long Trails, providing through and day hikers with access to many scenic trails in Vermont's Green Mountains.
